The organisation is present at Roskilde Festival to activate and engage you

Roskilde Festival has joined forces with The Green Youth Movement, Fridays For Future, LGBT + Danmark and UngEnergi. Together, the four organisations have prepared lots of different content based on their different activist works. They all share a community of action where music, art and creative expression are the catalyst for commitment.

All this will unfold both on our Flokkr stage and on the campsite in the first days of the festival. After this, the project will head out on a small tour with stops at Folkemøde Møn (19-20 August 2022), Ungdommens Folkemøde (7-8 September 2022) and GRASP (6-8 October 2022).

Conversation with Emma Holten and Aka Hansen: The climate crisis and colonialism in a Danish-Greenlandic perspective
Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse (the green youth movement) invites you to a talk with Emma Holten, Danish-Swedish feminist activist, debater and lecturer, and Aka Hansen, Inuk film director and activist who works for the decolonisation of Greenland. They will talk about the climate crisis, Denmark's colonisation of Greenland and the connection between the two.

Future journey
It becomes much easier to demand change when we can imagine the future. So come and dream together with Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse & Kooperativet Gentænk (‘the cooperative rethink’).

Together, we will embark on a journey towards the future where we are guided through a soundtrack to imagine the future we’d like. How does your everyday life look like? How are people like? How is your food produced?

When the sound ends, everyone gets a moment to draw or write what they have experienced on a piece of paper. Then we will jointly discuss our ideal future. Maybe our futures are similar, maybe they are completely different.

About Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse
Den Grønne Ungdomsbevægelse is a community of action for young people who are fighting for a green, fair future by demanding structural and systemic change.
