Danish/Welsh artist Drew Sycamore has been here, there and everywhere on the Danish music scene in the past year.
Everyone with a radio turned on has most likely heard her music. She’s also been in the majority of Danish music magazines. And at the various Danish music award events, she’s been an ever-present feature.
Drew Sycamore's pop music is like a big rotating disco ball that reflects multi-coloured pop perfections. Her sound draws on the aesthetics of the 80s, not unlike names like Dua Lipa, HAIM, Christine & The Queens and similar kinds of pop music with punch and show.

The 31-year-old artist sings like a dream. She masters broad-spectrum drama, ranging from the sensitive to the intense, often within the framework of one song.
Things have moved fast for Drew Sycamore since she first introduced herself as a raw talent just a few years back and to now where she appears as a confident, mature artist with an international level.
Drew Sycamore released her debut album Brutal in 2019 (using the mononymous name DREW) and landed a couple of hit songs with ”Perfect Disaster” and ”Let Me Love You”.
With the follow-up album Sycamore, she conquered all of Denmark – with one eye looking towards the international pop scene. Just listen to big pop tunes like “Take it Back”, “I Wanna Be Dancing” and “45 Fahrenheit Girl”.
Drew Sycamore has also proven her worth on the Danish live stages. She connects with the whole room and it becomes even more clear what an expressive voice she has. Her well-playing band also adds some extra dynamics and oomph to the sound compared to the tight pop productions on her records.
So, it seems like an obvious choice to clear our Orange Stage for Drew Sycamore. She gets to open the stage in 2022 when we finally meet again after too long an absence.
