If you're into knitting you probably know who Lærke Bagger is. You probably do anyway.
Lærke Bagger has become a true success with her stubborn knitting style that celebrates the imperfect.
Lærke has been knitting since she was 8 years old and graduated as a textile designer specialising in hand knitting from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2015. She has thousands of followers on Instagram, has published books and been on national TV.
She is known for being rebellious and using old methods in new ways while at the same time doing away with the notion of the perfect human being and the perfect knitted sweater.
On our Flokkr stage, you can experience Lærke Bagger in a personal conversation about breaking the rules, rebelling against perfection and lowering the expectations to embrace fun and the ungraceful. But also a conversation about why handicraft saves us all.
After the talk about Bagger's knitting universe you can join a knitting workshop to experiment, have fun, have a creative crisis, knit and forgive yourself for all your mistakes. Maybe we'll have a pint as well. Bring knitting pins no. 4 (or whatever you feel like) and perhaps different small bundles of yarn. And an open mind.
Knit you later!
