Quirky experiments result in wonderfully redemptive lo-fi pop

Linn Holm creates whimsy results with her quirky music. She enters the scene mononymously under just her first name with music that has grown wildly from her inventive mind.

You may have come across her music previously as one half of the duo The Bowdashes who released the album Bouquet in 2020.

Since then, LINN has stepped out on her own.

Her debut EP Happy Metal was the result of equal parts creative urge and boredom. It was produced in a time marked by lockdown and lack of fun things to do. So it's not an uncommon thing to come across songs about frozen pizzas and alcohol cravings.

Fortunately, there's plenty of fun and invention to be found in LINN's music.

Using looped beats, quirky guitar riffs and tender vocals, the music pushes its listener into a curious and warped universe.

LINN sings about being "not that <3 core anymore". The music shows the exact opposite. Catch LINN on the Rising stage at Roskilde Festival 2022.
