LOG LADIES ^DK

The construction cooperative Log Ladies are a part of helping to build the Climate Pavilion, a new platform for workshops, play and reflection. They arrange hands-on construction workshops with a focus on gender – and you are welcome to join!

At Roskilde Festival 2022, Log Ladies team up with EAHR (meet them here) to design and build a Climate Pavilion, which is a new platform for workshops, play and reflection.

Log Ladies also host workshops where you can learn to use tools and build with wood. You get guidance to build, repair and great opportunity to practice.

Log Ladies have a special focus on creating a space where women, transgender people and non-binary people are safely given the opportunity to try their hand at a profession that has traditionally been very male-dominated. Through guidance and hands-on practice in the use of tools, experience the emancipatory potential that comes with being able to build and repair the world around us. 

Each workshop has room for 10-15 people and they are all aimed at beginners. We will build on a communal project for the Climate Pavilion and you will get the skills so that you can start building at home!
