If you want a central spot for your camp and be a part of some fantastic communities where we keep the party going while keeping Roskilde green, then you should apply now.

When we live together at Roskilde Festival, we must keep our community great. This also means that we need to take care of our beautiful festival grounds.

We want to break with the throw-away culture. The green future of the planet is our joint responsibility.  

That’s why you will find that our campsite is organised differently compared to previous years. We place the green community at the very heart of the campsite – and we hope that you want to be a part of it.

Everyone can live in these areas. No extra ticket is required. But it requires that you want to be a part of a sustainable festival culture. Therefore, we ask everyone to apply to live in the area.

Did you know… In the past 20 years, the amount of waste at the festival has increased by an average of 76 tonnes per year. We are determined to change that.

Green areas with different themes

We have five different areas with various green approaches. We guarantee that they are all great to be a part of. And then offer different kinds of parties. The areas are:

• Clean Out Loud
  Our oldest green area which has been at the forefront of the fight against waste since 2011. It is made in collaboration with Vallekilde Højskole.
• Dream City
  Our unique “city within the city” where the inhabitants build imaginative constructions, throw amazing parties and make sure that the area is kept clean.
• Common Ground
  Common Ground is hosted by Roskilde Festival Højskole. Here, focus is on compassion and sustainable solutions. 
• Leave No Trace
  Here, all camps can build, share and implement their wildest ideas about sustainability, the environment and communities.
• Settle'n Share
  Settle'n Share is located in the southeastern corner of the campsite and is based on the idea that you share with the surrounding community and that you keep the area nice and clean.

Reserve an area for your camp

If you want to book a dedicated space for your camp (50 square meters), you should know that we’re putting Get A Place (small) tickets up for sale on Tuesday 8 at 12:00. Price: DKK 1250 (+ DKK 1000 deposit to ensure clean-up).
