Ultra-catchy indie rock from Danish power sisters.
Sometimes it makes sense to keep things simple. A drum machine, a guitar and two strong vocalists – this is the foundation of Prisma’s ultra-catchy indie rock, which should please fans of The Raveonettes.
Prisma consists of sisters Frida and Sirid Møl Kristensen, who sound like they were raised on a mix of soft Noise Rock, 60s girl groups and cool electropop. With their impressive song-writing talent, the two create catchy, dreamy and melancholic indie crowd-pleasers – just listen to the fantastic EPs Her (2020) and Inside Out (2021) and their latest singles, Drive and Bangs.
Live, Frida and Sirid are backed by synths and drums, for an even more powerful sound, which an ecstatic crowd witnessed when Prisma performed on the Rising stage at Roskilde Festival 2022.
Since then, the power sisters have toured intensively both at home and abroad, where they toured with the likes of The Ark. Testimony to their particularly engaging live performances is their nomination in the category of “Year’s new Danish live name” at the upcoming Danish Music Awards.
