You plan to arrive on Saturday 24 June and to stay at Camping East
Saturday is the opening day of Roskilde Festival 2023. This is a guide for you to get to Roskilde the best way and to the right place.
The whole of Camping East is again this year one large spot for community camping and special camping. Here, all areas are booked in advance.
There are five different community camping areas: Clean Out Loud, Dream City, Common Ground, Leave No Trace and Settle'n Share – and in addition a number of special camping areas such as Rent Your Tent, Get A Place, Get A Silent Spot, Tenthouses, Handi-camp and Sleep-in Buses.
Use the Entrance East
To get to your area, use entrance East, which opens on Saturday 24 June at 16:00.
Arrive by bus to camping East
From Roskilde Station you can take the shuttle bus to Entrance East. The first departure is at 15:30, and after that the buses operate around the clock. You buy your ticket on the bus. The price is DKK 30.
You can also go by Flixbus directly to Roskilde Festival. The buses stop right at the East entrance. The sale has not started yet but keep an eye on flixbus.dk.

If you arrive with your own means of transport, you have to drive to the Drop-off Zone East on Øde-Hastrupvej. From 16:00, you can exchange your ticket to a wristband here. You then set off on foot towards entrance East.
If you need to park your own car, we have paid parking spaces at the same location. We strongly advice you to book your parking spot in advance, if you wish to avoid risking not being able to find a parking spot on the day. Book a parking spot in our webshop from Thursday 11 May at 11:30.
Parking spots for GreenMobility
In collaboration with GreenMobility we're allocating parking spots for their environmentally friendly rent cars within our parking spots in Drop-off Zone East and Drop-off Zone West. More info will follow soon.
