Apply for a spot in Community Camping
On February 28 we also open for applications to Community Camping. Here we live in the middle of the festival, participate in fantastic communities and parties while maintaining a green Roskilde.
All it takes to live here is that you contribute to a more sustainable festival culture. That is why we encourage all to apply to live in these areas.
We have five different areas, each with their own sustainability theme. We guarantee that these areas are terrific to for living and partying. The areas are as follows:
Clean Out Loud
Our longest-living green area. Since 2011, Clean Out Loud has been leading the fight against garbage. Clean Out Loud is created in collaboration with Vallekilde Højskole.
Our user-managed city within the city where inhabitants create imaginative constructions, throw immense parties and clean up together.
Hosted by Roskilde Festival Højskole, Common Ground focuses on humanitarian and green solutions.
Leave No Trace
At Leave No Trace, all camps can build, share and implement their wildest ideas about sustainability, the environment and communities.
Settle’n Share is locasted in southeast part of the camping area and centers around the premise that you share with the surrounding neighbourhood and maintain a clean area.
Roskilde Roadtrip is for international festival-goers who want to participate in a festival experience focused on community. Whether you are travelling by yourself or as part of a larger group, you get the opportunity to create a community that transcends borders.
