Dance-friendly pop party with soaring ambitions

Several Danish music critics had no doubts when they hailed the new band Kind Mod Kind's performance at Roskilde Festival in 2023 as a true triumph.

But the critics are not alone in embracing the band, whose Danish-language, sensitive rave pop has captivated many fans since they burst onto the music scene with their debut EP in 2022. This has been followed by a collaboration with Danish pop queen Medina on the single "Love Isn't Easy" – a collaboration that demonstrates Kind Mod Kind's unique ability to combine sincerity, melancholy, big choruses, and clubby electronic beats.

Although they have only existed as a project for a few years, Kind Mod Kind is well on its way to becoming a shining star in the Danish pop sky. And in Julius Amdisen the band has a breathtaking front man who, with his heartfelt falsetto, towers like a lighthouse in the emotional sea of the songs. It's pop with grandiose ambitions, but also with control over the tools and an ability to create a trance-like dance party, and we can't wait to see them again at Roskilde Festival this summer.
