American artist Amen Dunes - aka Damon McMahon - opened an exciting new chapter in his career when he released the acclaimed single “Feel Nothing” in 2021. The song was Amen Dunes' first release on the legendary Sub Pop label and featured a collaboration with English group Sleaford Mods. A collaboration that signaled new musical directions for the indie singer-songwriter, who got his big breakthrough with the excellent 2018 album Freedom.

While "Feel Nothing" set expectations high for Amen Dunes' new chapter, things have been relatively quiet since then. Until now, as Amen Dunes is finally getting ready to release his long-awaited new album.

Since the start in 2006, Amen Dunes has shown a willingness and ability to constantly evolve with elements of indie rock, psychedelic folk, post-punk, dusty beats and electronic undercurrents. He has also shown an amazing sense of hand-picking interesting musicians and artistic collaborators in his search for new expressions. Combining this with a classic sense of songwriting and intelligent lyrics has made him a highly respected name in today's music scene.

There's always reason to pay attention when Amen Dunes releases new material, and there's certainly reason to look forward to his new album, which will be released this spring. The excitement is all the greater because the versatile and intelligent songwriter and his amazing band will be stopping by Roskilde shortly after the release.
