Argentinian Blanco Teta is known for creating shows that suck the audience into an intense maelstrom of energy and chaos. All the frenzy of punk is combined with an unstoppable appetite for sonic experimentation and a penchant for all things noisy in soundscapes where noise rock, jazzy rhythms and avant-garde collide.

The band emerges from the experimental art scene of Buenos Aires, where they are part of a larger collective of artists and activists revolving around queer and transfeminist themes. As a band, Blanco Teta began to make a name for themselves in the Buenos Aires underground in 2017, and in the past few years the band has also gained international attention with their inventive releases and, not least, their insane live shows that have brought them to numerous international festivals.

In 2022, their live energy was previewed at an excellent KEXP session, and the following year they released the album Rompe Paga, showing the band in noisy top form and raising high expectations when the transfeminist avant-punkers visit Roskilde Festival for the first time.
