With a voice that vibrates with presence and a vital talent for raw songwriting, Rebebe has emerged as one of the most promising new names on the Danish alt-pop scene.

At just 18 years old, she was noticed due to her self-released EP Time Is Weak, created in her own room in her hometown of Odense. Even then, it was obvious that she was not only an exciting new vocalist, but also an original artist with a flair for ragged soundscapes and captivating songs.

She has since proved her talent with two acclaimed EPs on Stellar Records, What Are You Into (2022) and Deserving (2023). Both releases were created in the company of producer Villads Øster (Liss), and together the two have managed to create a universe where delicate pop melodies and R&B-sounding elements naturally blend with jangly indie rock and minimalist drum machines.

It's all lifted by Rebebe's haunting and original voice, which grips the listener with an insistence on being heard. That it also burns through on the stage, you can witness for yourself when Rebebe visits Roskilde Festival.
