One of the most requested names for Roskilde Festival 2024, American SZA is coming to Denmark for the first time this summer!
SZA aka Solána Imani Rowe is a generation-defining icon who is known for delivering an epic pop party from the stage, embodying both vulnerability, intimacy, and power. Get ready to be blown away with a repertoire full of hits, including "Kill Bill," "Snooze," and "Nobody Gets Me".
We're rushing on because we have a lot to cover! Today we're also announcing Tems, who in no time has become a leading figure for an African music explosion that can be heard all over the globe. The Grammy-winning and Oscar-nominated singer has set her sights on the top of the Afrobeats mountain, and everywhere people are eagerly awaiting her debut album, which is destined to come out this year!
What else? Well, you should definitely prepare yourself to experience the South African pop star Tyla, who is making waves with her summer-warm amapiano sound. "Water" is already a massive hit, confirming her status as an upcoming superstar, and her debut album, Tyla, is set to be released in the spring.
But the party doesn't stop there! We can also announce the rock icon and Sonic Youth co-founder Kim Gordon, the Catalan dancehall diva Bad Gyal, the sublime British disco mama Jessie Ware, and the Danish pop talent Ida Laurberg, who will take on Orange Stage, exactly a year after playing as part of our First Days lineup.
If you're looking for euphoric dance parties, we've got some of that good stuff for you with the Peruvian producer Sofia Kourtesis, Italy's godfather of rave, Lorenzo Senni, and "techno's horny highness", LSDXOXO, who will deliver mesmerizing shows for your mind, body and soul.
Another landmark today is the addition of The Last Dinner Party, the magnificent and deservedly hyped British indie rock outfit who released their critically acclaimed debut album, Prelude to Ecstasy, earlier in 2024.
