ABOUT THE TASK
We want to make Roskilde Festival more sustainable by redirecting abandonned camping equipment to NGOs. Working with project REUSEFUL, we set up drop off stations where guests can drop off their camping equipment and also collect abandoned equipment directly from the campsite. You will work with a team to make sure as much material as possible gets reused rather than thrown away.
You will get to participate in the following tasks:
- Set up and operation of drop off stations.
- Moving through the campsites to collect of abandoned material (tents, sleeping bags, matresses, chairs, glass & metal). This is our biggest task.
- Sorting the material based on the criterias of different NGOs.
Everyone will have the same shifts with breaks, so you can easily sign up with your friends :)
- Saturday July 5th daytime - 4 hours
- Sunday July 6th daytime - 10 hours (after the festival)
- Monday July 7th daytime - 10 hours (after the festival)

ABOUT YOU
You are passionate about supporting the mission of our association, don't mind getting your hands dirty and are ready to be on your feet. Our task mostly takes place after the festival so you should make sure that you have enough energy left after 8 days of festival to contribute fully :)
ABOUT US
We are La Capuche Mobilisée, a French NGO that supports refugees at the UK/French border. Displaced people are forced to sleep outside in tents and sleeping bags, even in winter. The tents and sleeping bags collected by you at Roskilde Festival will go straight to our distributions in Northern France.
We are a international team with volunteers coming from many different contexts, making it a great opportunity to meet new people. We will be sharing REUSEFUL's cozy base for breaks and we provide meals on Sunday/Monday. The volunteer camping remains open during our work after the festival.
