Folkehuset Absalon brings people together at Roskilde Festival through movement, laughter, and shared experiences. From their house in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, they have spent more than 10 years creating spaces for connection – from communal dinners to dance parties and workshops – always with a focus on bringing people closer across ages and backgrounds. At the festival, they invite you to join open dance sessions where everyone is welcome.

Bridal Waltz
It’s never too early or too late to learn the bridal waltz. Bring your festival crush, a friend from your camp – or come on your own and find a partner on the floor. Instructor Paula Yau will guide you through the classic steps so everyone can join in. It’s not about getting it perfect, but about having fun together.

Psytrance Dance Fitness
Get your heart rate up and your body moving with an hour of psytrance dance fitness. Instructor Lars Christian Feit Andersen leads a high-energy session with circular movement, shared flow, and space to let go. You’ll be guided along the way, with room to move freely to the hypnotic beats. Come on your own or bring your whole camp – and dance your way through the day.
