Join Polish artist Arobal as they guide you through the performance series: Whisper Whisper, Queer Meditations, and BYOB.
The programme unfolds within Rehearsals of Belonging 2.0 – a sensory installation at The Yard, constructed from wood, textiles, and bioplastic, where art, activism, and spirituality merge.
Whisper Whisper – 45 min
In small groups of 2–4 people, you are guided through a spontaneous storytelling experience. No icebreakers, no awkward introductions – just a space for something real and sincere to emerge. Follow the instructions and respect your own and others’ space. The session is closed to late arrivals, but you are free to leave at any time. Come as you are.
Queer Meditations – 45 min
A guided mindfulness session in stillness and slow movement that embraces the strangeness of the mind. The session meets you exactly where you are – whether you are a beginner or experienced. Feel free to arrive and leave as you wish, while respecting the other participants. Partly guided in Danish.
The meditation is accompanied by a soundscape by Stefan Węgłowski.
BYOB – 45 min
Bring your body, your boundaries, and your beating heart — and optionally a drink. A guided workshop in radical kindness and spatial awareness, where your festival experience is challenged. Follow your instincts and draw on your own experiences to sense what you and those around you need to feel safe. You are welcome to sit or lie down, move slowly, or simply rest. The session is closed to late arrivals, but you may leave at any time.
Alcohol is allowed during the BYOB session.
Arobal is a Polish artist whose practice is rooted in reflection and repetition. Working across movement, sound, video, and installation, they transform rituals and symbolism to explore how we relate and communicate — between self, environment, and community. Arobal lives and works in Copenhagen.
