With a flair for crafting indie pop gems that enchant audiences with a dreamy, psychedelic vibe, Chezile – aka Alejandro Sanchez – has charmed his way into the hearts of many music lovers in just a few years.
The young talent, who grew up in Albuquerque with Mexican parents, spent the early days of his music career living in his car, but that quickly changed when his debut single "Beanie" went viral on TikTok in 2023, sending the songwriter on a path to the stars. It quickly became clear that he was able to connect with audiences through his songs, where dreamy reverberations, crisp guitars and intimate melodies unfold a sonic universe reminiscent of names like Tame Impala and Cigarettes After Sex.
"Beanie" attracted considerable interest from the music industry, but Chezile has managed to keep his personality intact, and on his latest EP, Alē (2025), he has returned to his roots with a release symbolically named after a childhood nickname. Chezile wants to preserve the child's curious and dreamy approach to creativity, while at the same time aspiring to reach a wide audience with his psychedelic pop universe.
This has been achieved exceptionally well on a number of songs, where melancholic vulnerability and musical adventurousness go hand in hand. His brand-new single “Another Life” indicates that his debut album is coming soon, perfectly timed for his concert at Roskilde Festival. It will be his first concert in Denmark, and we are sure that his sun-kissed, psychedelic dream pop will be a perfect fit for the Danish summer.
