Food is part of the experience – and there’s more to choose from than you might think
At Roskilde Festival, it’s not just burgers and pizza on repeat. You’ll find a wide range of food from different cuisines, price points and concepts – from quick bites in the campsite to meals you’ll want to sit down and enjoy.
At the same time, you can eat with peace of mind.
All food at the festival is 100% organic, and from 2026 we are introducing a CO₂ cap to reduce the climate impact and move the selection in a greener direction. This means more plant-based dishes and a broad range of options – whatever your preferences.
When you’re on the move, it’s easy to find something to eat.
In the camping area, food stalls are never far away. Here you’ll typically find classic options that are quick to grab and at the more affordable end of the scale.
On the festival site, the selection is wider and more varied. You can explore different cuisines and dishes – choosing between quick options or meals you can sit down and enjoy.

One of the places where food really takes centre stage is the Food Court.
Here, a range of stalls come together, and the area works as a space for developing and testing new food concepts. It’s often where you’ll discover new ideas, dishes and cuisines.
Food Court is also a place to hang out. You can sit down, take a break and eat with others – without needing to rush off straight away.

All food at Roskilde Festival is 100% organic.
From 2026, we are introducing a CO₂ cap to reduce the climate impact of the food. This includes:
• less use of beef and lamb
• more plant-based dishes
• a wider range of meals with a lower climate footprint
All stalls must also offer at least one dish that meets our One Planet Plate principles – a full meal with a low climate impact.
For you, this means you’ll always be able to find plant-based options and make choices that suit both your taste and your needs.

Food Is Now is a restaurant, an experience space and a place to hang out, located directly south of the Orange Stage.
From 1 July, you can sit down for a meal and reflect on what we eat – and how we eat – while you’re actually enjoying your food.
You can drop by for breakfast, pop-up lunches or shared evening dinners. The shared dinners require a ticket, which must be purchased in advance and are limited in capacity.
All Food Is Now activities listed in the schedule are free to take part in.
