Greenpeace invites you into Action Village in Camping West, right by the footbridge, where activism becomes something you can take part in yourself. Here, you can hang out, meet activists, and gain insight into how small actions can help create change.
In the area, you can try climbing with Greenpeace instructors and discover how it can be used as a tool for activism. There is also ongoing opportunity to work with craftivism and stencil printing, using creativity to highlight global issues.
Workshop: Craftivism – creativity as resistance
Give your clothes a new life and leave your own mark with stencil printing and street art. Craft and activism come together as you create your own designs or paint banners with messages. Bring a piece of clothing that could use an update and try a unique stencil design created by the British street artist Bambi for Roskilde Festival.
The workshop takes place on Sunday 28 June at 12:30 in Action Village.
