The Tender Revolution (2024)

SUNDAY 28 JUNE

People pushing back against a system that leaves no room for care

  • Sunday 28 June
    11:00, Cinema

The Tender Revolution follows people pushing back against a system that fails to care: Arnold supports his son alone, a Polish nurse organizes for workers’ rights, a Peruvian activist faces climate change, and Samuel navigates life with paralysis. They refuse a world with no time or resources for care. Filmmaker Annelie Boros asks whether a more compassionate society might have changed her close friend’s tragic fate.

Runtime: 95 min

The Tender Revolution is screened in partnership with the European Parliament.

Roskilde Festival’s cinema is returning in 2026 after 13 years. During First Days, you can experience both new feature films, documentaries, and special late-night screenings.
