Last night, we felt the power of community as Aphaca and tens of thousands of people sang and danced together in front of Orange Scene.
Take that feeling back to your camp: clean up after yourselves, sort your waste, and help each other get your gear home or handed in at the right place.
Luckily, there is still a whole day of festival left. But when we clean up along the way, we make things easier for ourselves, for each other and for everyone who will be working on the site after the festival.
Here are three simple steps:

Your waste must be sorted into four familiar types:
- metal
- glass
- residual waste
- plastic and food/drink cartons
You can pick up waste bags at all towers and sorting stations.
When the bags are full, take them to the sorting stations at the campsite. This is also where you should hand in cardboard, hazardous waste and broken camping equipment.
BinFluencers hand out sorting bags at the campsite and can help if you are unsure how to sort your waste. You can recognise them by their green vests.
Five pieces of litter can quickly become 300,000
We get it. Cleaning up can feel overwhelming when the wind has had its way with the campsite.
But no one has to do it all alone. If 60,000 people each pick up five pieces of litter, together we have removed 300,000 pieces of litter.
That is how Roskilde Festival works when we help each other, little by little.

All the gear you have brought with you must either go home with you or be handed in at the right place.
If it can be used again, take it home. If someone else can make use of it, hand it in for direct reuse at the sorting stations.
Broken camping equipment must be taken to the sorting stations at the campsite.
Tell yourself this: I do not have to clean up the whole campsite. I can start with one bag, one corner of the camp or five pieces of litter. After all, we're all knackered.
Tell yourself this: Later-me will not have more energy than now-me. I will take five pieces of litter or one bag now, and then we are already moving.
Tell yourself this: We can pick some up at a tower or a sorting station. And maybe bring an extra one back for the neighbours.
Tell yourself this: We can check the map in the app and filter by “Recycling stations”. There are 23 in the campsite, so one will be nearby.
Tell yourself this: For someone else to use it, we need to hand it in for direct reuse at the sorting stations. If we leave it here, it is not going anywhere.

If you have rented camping equipment from us, it must be returned by Sunday at 12:00.
Return it at the Service Hubs shown on the map.
When you head home
When it is time to go home, train and bus are the best options.
The shuttle trains run from Roskilde Festival Station in Camping West throughout the night and until 13:58 on Sunday.
Heading towards Copenhagen? All Sunday departures continue directly from Roskilde Station to Copenhagen, so you can stay on the train.
Just remember to buy a separate ticket or check in with your Rejsekort when you arrive at Roskilde Station if you are continuing by train towards Copenhagen.
Thank you for helping. It makes a big difference to your camp, your neighbours and, not least, to the environment and our shared resources.
