Recharge Your Phone – and Yourself

04.07.2026Festivalen

Between Orange Stage and Arena, Andel has created a calm hideaway. At Recharge with Andel, hammocks, charging points and moments of downtime bring new energy – both between people and behind the scenes.

If you're walking between Orange Stage and Arena, it's hard to miss Andel's green oasis.

Just beyond the entrance, rows of hammocks hang beneath a large sun canopy. Some festivalgoers are lying back with their eyes closed. Others are charging their phones, swapping an empty Volt power bank for a fully charged one, or sitting with friends in one of the lounge booths, planning their next concert.

Everything moves a little more slowly here.

More Than a Place to Charge Your Phone

The area is called Lad Op! med Andel ("Recharge with Andel"), and it's made for the kind of breaks you didn't plan, but end up wanting to take. Simply because there's so much to enjoy.

You can charge your phone or swap an empty Volt power bank for a fully charged one. Or you can stretch out in a hammock, book a lounge booth with friends, borrow a game or capture a festival memory in the photo booth.

Whatever you choose, you'll soon forget that the festival is still roaring away just outside.

Good Energy – in More Ways Than One

There's a reason it's called Recharge with Andel.

At Roskilde Festival, energy isn't just what comes from the stages. It's also what keeps a temporary city of more than 130,000 people running – and how that can be done with a smaller climate footprint.

Together, Roskilde Festival and Andel are helping move the festival in a greener direction. In recent years, diesel generators have been phased out, and food stalls have switched from bottled gas to electricity.

This year, around a third of the electricity used to power the stages, lighting and food stalls is also matched by production from Andel's solar park in Vedde.

It probably isn't what you're thinking about while you're relaxing in a hammock between concerts. But it's helping power the festival – quite literally.

A Break That Leaves You Recharged

Maybe you stop by because your phone is down to five per cent.

Maybe you stay a little longer because it simply feels good to be there.

And maybe you leave with more than a fully charged battery: a clearer head, a good conversation with friends or simply the feeling that you've found a place where the festival takes a moment to catch its breath.

So next time your phone – or your legs – are running low on energy, you'll know exactly where to recharge both.
