Rethinking blue mussels for a more planet-friendly future

Blue mussels are often overlooked. But they’re actually a powerhouse, packed with nutrients and super planet-friendly. They don’t need feed, water, or farmland to grow, and they even clean the ocean. Pretty cool, right? Still, they’re not on most people’s plates here in Denmark. Why? The look, the texture, or just not knowing how to cook them. That’s where Eat Myt come in.

Eat Myt's goal is to make blue mussels easy and enjoyable to eat for everyone. They turn blue mussels into tasty and convenient everyday-friendly foods: Myt Balls (think meatballs, but made with blue mussels) and Myt Snacks (tiny crunchy bites out of blue mussels). Good for you and good for the planet.
