Textile waste is a massive global challenge, and recycling systems often feel distant or complicated. The My(ne)stery of Matter want to change that by making textile recycling hands-on, creative, and accessible to everyone.
The My(ne)stery of Matter is a mobile textile recycling lab that empowers communities to transform waste into valuable products. By fostering sustainability, hands-on learning, and collaboration, it promotes resourcefulness and supports circular societies, helping communities rethink waste and contribute to more inclusive, creative urban spaces.
At Roskilde Festival 2025, they’ll be facilitating a series of workshops at the Circular Lab. The project is a collaboration between Hilo Textile, Sarah Prien Design, and Maker, co-funded by LAUDS (Horizon Europe). Together, they empower people to turn waste into something valuable—and build a more sustainable future, one thread at a time.
