Bring your good habits from home and help keep your camp clean.
Who takes out the rubbish after the first camp party?
The answer: You, your camp mates, your neighbours and everyone at Roskilde Festival.
We all share the responsibility for keeping the festival clean and making sure more resources can be used again.
Sort it like you do at home
Sorting waste at Roskilde Festival works much like it does at home.
The system has three simple parts:
- Sorting bags – Use them in your camp for everyday waste, just like you would use bags or bins at home.
- Sorting points – Take your full bags here, just like taking out the rubbish.
- Sorting areas – Use these for waste that does not fit in the bags, similar to a recycling centre.
Need more bags? You can pick them up at the Info Towers, from the camping hosts or at the sorting areas. When a bag is full, tie it up and take it to the nearest sorting point or sorting area.
You can find more detailed information about waste sorting under Practical Info.
Help us recycle more
When you and your friends sort the waste in your camp, you help make the festival cleaner and more responsible.
Every year, too many useful resources end up being incinerated. When we sort waste properly, more of it can be recycled and used again.
That makes a real difference, both for the festival site and for the climate and environment.
