The Orange Together code of conduct

SCROLL DOWN

Roskilde Festival is an experience we create and share together. That’s why we have a code of conduct with five simple rules for good Roskilde style.

You and your friends play a part in making Roskilde Festival safer, more fun and better for everyone. Our code of conduct is made up of five simple guidelines for how we share the festival.

Roskilde Festival is something we create together. That means we all have a responsibility for the atmosphere, the community and the way we treat each other.

The code of conduct is our shared set of guidelines for all 130,000 participants. It is about making space for each other, looking out for one another and helping create a festival where more people feel welcome, free and safe.

When you follow the guidelines, you actively help take care of our unique orange community.

Join the community

Enjoy the freedom and meet others with respect and curiosity. Everyone has their own way of being – you too! When you make others feel welcome, you create the best festival experience for everyone.

Take care of each other

Keep your eyes and heart open – we look out for each other. Step in when someone needs a helping hand, or contact a festival host in a vest if support is needed.

Make space

The festival can be intense and euphoric, so be mindful of others in large crowds. Show consideration for those around you, and find a calmer spot if you need more space.

Keep it Green

Skip single-use items. Reuse your stuff, take everything home, and sort your camp’s waste – so we can keep the grass green and help protect the environment together.

Take a break

Give yourself a well-deserved pause from the party. Explore the utopian festival city and make new friends – great memories are made in both the intense and chill moments.

If Roskilde doesn’t feel right

We do not tolerate discrimination, boundary-crossing or violent behaviour. If you witness or experience something unpleasant, help is available. You are not alone.
