ABOUT THE TASK AND THE ROLE
As a Toilet Logistics co-creator, you will help ensure the distribution of toilet and cleaning supplies.
Together with a year-round Toilet Logistics lead, you will be involved in:
- Refilling containers at toilet and shower areas before the festival
- Refilling containers during the festival
- Collecting unused items after the festival
- Coordinating and leading a number of volunteers who help solve these tasks
More specifically, your role includes:
- Familiarising yourself with the festival’s selection of toilet and cleaning supplies as well as container locations
- Participating in the practical preparations for Toilet Logistics
- Participating in briefing and debriefing of 32-hour volunteers before and after their shifts
- Registering attendance and handling absences
- Collaborating with the other leads and co-creators in Team Waste and Recycling – and helping create wellbeing and productivity in the team
About you
First and foremost, you are passionate about creating a cleaner and greener festival.
You work systematically and thrive in tasks with a lot of responsibility. You have the motivation and the skills to contribute with both practical and administrative leadership and coordination – and you are not afraid to handle ad hoc tasks.
You are smiling, proactive and service-minded. You enjoy engaging in dialogue with others and thrive in an environment where things can sometimes move fast.
The task can be physically demanding and fast-paced. However, there will be opportunities to take breaks during your shifts.
We will guide you thoroughly before your shifts so you feel well prepared to carry out the task.
A volunteer role that makes a difference, and where you have the opportunity to take on and show extra responsibility.
The role totals 100 hours, of which about half is carried out before the festival itself, one third during the festival and the rest after the festival – by further agreement.
