ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

As a co-creator in cabling (100+ hours), you will help build the technical infrastructure that makes Roskilde Festival run smoothly. You will be involved in pulling cables, setting up networks, and ensuring that stalls, stages, and areas have stable connections. The tasks are practical and manageable, and you will receive thorough training along the way.

The effort starts from June 20th, with most of the hours taking place in the period leading up to the festival, where we build everything. There may be a few shifts during the music days. The work is mainly during the daytime, but there may also be a need for evening shifts during the setup period.

As a co-creator, you will be part of a team with both new and experienced volunteers, where we support each other and work together. You will always work alongside others, and experienced people will be close by if anything is new or challenging.

You will be part of Festival IT, where we focus on well-being, safe environments, and a strong community. We have a fixed base in the IT City with space for breaks, discussions, and socializing, and a dedicated leadership team and HR support are there to assist you along the way.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our team offers following accessibility

  • We offer tasks that can be carried out with reduced hearing.
  • We offer tasks that do not require reading or writing.
  • We offer tasks that take place without noise or loud music.
  • We offer tasks with limited contact with festival attendees.
  • We offer the possibility of flexible shift lengths by agreement.

ABOUT US

Festival IT is the volunteer IT organization behind Roskilde Festival. We ensure that the technical infrastructure works – from networking and cabling to on-site support. We are a community of volunteers with diverse backgrounds who work together and help each other succeed. With us, you will have a safe environment, strong camaraderie, and become part of something that is essential for the entire festival to function.

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

Are you ready to make Roskilde Festival even better? We are looking for volunteer service hosts (camping hosts) for two unique camping areas:

  • M – Rent Your Tent: where tents are already set up – guests just need to move in
  • L – Get a Place: a reserved camping area where guests can secure a spot until Sunday, June 28 at 16:00

As part of our team, you will play an important role in creating a safe, cozy, and unforgettable festival experience. You’ll be there to help guests, create a great atmosphere, and ensure that everyone has an amazing festival. We provide all the support you need—your manager and supervisor will always be ready to guide you during your shifts.

The shifts consist of 4 x 8 hours, including at least one night shift and one shift during the main music days. In return, you receive: a full festival ticket, 4 meal vouchers, access to Volunteer Village, the option to camp in Volunteer Camping, and more.

You don’t need experience—just a smile and a willingness to help! We are an international team, so it’s an advantage if you understand English. During shifts, you will be standing and walking around a lot, so it’s helpful if you enjoy being active. The only requirements are that you are 18+ and ready to help create a fantastic experience for others.

In addition to the great benefits the festival offers volunteers, you will become part of an amazing community. We coordinate camping together, find time for concerts and experiences, and most importantly: we wait to release shifts until the music lineup is announced, so you can get the most out of your festival! Coming with a group of friends? No problem—we release shifts on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are plenty of opportunities to take shifts together.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our team offers following accessibility

  • Tasks that are not physically demanding
  • Tasks that take place without loud noise or high music levels

We are looking for volunteers for Manager & Supervisor roles at Camping South (P).

The role:

The primary task will be to operate and lead, as well as motivate, coach, support, and guide the volunteers who are responsible for carrying out and assisting with service tasks in the camping area at the festival site. This will take place in collaboration with an already established and well-functioning management team, as well as other managers and supervisors. Your commitment:

Your commitment as a volunteer consists of 4 shifts of 8 hours each during the period from June 27 to July 5, distributed across day, evening, and night shifts, and covering both First Days and Main Days, with more flexibility and downtime between shifts.

You can apply individually or together with friends, and we will do our best to accommodate any wishes to have shifts together. There is also an opportunity to have some influence over your schedule and shift selection.

About you:

We have no specific requirements for you as a volunteer, but we would like you to be open, outgoing, and friendly when carrying out tasks.

Our motto is:
“You are the smiling face that festival guests meet and the one they can always approach. So be the volunteer you would want to meet yourself!”

  • Tasks that are not physically demanding
  • Thorough and patient guidance until you feel comfortable with your role
  • Dedicated support from a leader or another volunteer

ABOUT US

We are Division Participants – Camping, which is one of the divisions in the non-profit organization Roskilde Festival. As a volunteer with us, you contribute to donating over 15 million DKK each year after the festival to charitable causes—helping to make a real difference.

Your effort not only makes Roskilde Festival possible, but also helps create an unforgettable experience for everyone attending, while making you part of a unique and fantastic community.

Camping South (P) is an area where all types of activities and festivalgoers are represented. We welcome both newcomers and experienced participants, as well as guests of all ages—what they all share is the desire to create an amazing festival.

Camping South (P) consists of the following camping types:

  • Get A Place (GAP South): A special camping product where festival guests have paid for an area and are assigned one or more camping plots for their camp. The area is reserved until Sunday, June 28 at 16:00. After that, the camping area is opened to other festival guests, who can use any unused spaces.
  • Get A Late Spot (GALS): A new concept from RF25 that continues this year, aimed at festivalgoers who want to stay in an area where they are guaranteed a spot for themselves and their tent—even if they arrive late or on the final days.
  • Settle’n Share: A community area where festivalgoers have applied in advance and been approved to join. Here, they create activities and content for themselves and others at the festival.

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

Do you want to sell cool merchandise for Roskilde Festival’s amazing artists while listening to them perform on the Orange Stage? Then sign up as a volunteer in Artist Merchandise.

Your shift package will consist of two 10-hour shifts, a mandatory information meeting on Monday, June 29, and packing down on Sunday, July 5 – a total of 24 hours.

The shifts are mainly scheduled from Wednesday to Saturday during the music days, typically between 10:00 and 02:00.

ABOUT US

We are a team of around 30 volunteers who help artists sell their merchandise during the music days. Our main task is sales, but shifts may also include preparing the shop and packing down merchandise after the festival. We are also looking for shift supervisors who can keep the overall overview when the shop is open.

We share a tent with Roskilde Festival’s own merchandise team – right next to the Orange Stage – so there will be plenty of opportunities to dance to the biggest bangers while handing hoodies and T-shirts across the counter.

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

Would you like to be part of a brand new initiative at Roskilde Festival?

In Circular Services – Trade and Gastronomy, we're building a new type of bottle return stall at Indre Plads this year, which will only be open during the Final Days. Here, we’ll accept guests’ washable glasses, cups, and pitchers, nothing else, and help send them back into the circular economy.

We’re looking for 24-hour volunteers who want to lend a hand at the stall and be the festival’s smiling face. You’ll have 3 shifts of 8 hours each during the Final Days, where you will:

  • Receive glasses, cups, and pitchers from guests
  • Help maintain flow and order in the stall
  • Contribute to a good atmosphere and a greener festival

The stall is located in a central spot by Sejlene—with a view of Platform and the stands by Orange—so you’ll be right in the heart of the festival while helping to create something new and important.
