Berlin duo Brutalismus 3000 are brutal not just by name, but by nature. Roskilde Festival participants learned that the wonderfully hard way when the duo tore down the Apollo stage in 2024 with their full-frontal collision of techno, punk and gabber – a show that has since become the stuff of festival legend.
Once again, it’s time to brace your body, mind and lightning-fast dance moves for another sonic storm as the duo return next summer. And they have no plans to slow things down when they rain bangers like “Bitchboss”, “Satan Was A Babyboomer”, “Die Liebe Kommt Nicht Aus Berlin” and “No Sex With Cops” down on participants.
The recipe remains a dark, corrosive and humorous mix of electroclash, hyperpop and high-velocity gabber beats, infused with roots in Germany’s post-punked Neue Deutsche Welle scene. Or simply call it now-gabber-post-techno-punk – the term the duo themselves coined for the musical bastard born from a Tinder date between Victoria Vassiliki Daldas and Theo Zeitner.
With a string of strong EPs and the 2023 debut album Ultrakunst, the duo have built a solid hype, further fueled by their ferociously intense and razor-sharp shows across sweaty nightclubs and festival stages. They’re releasing a new album in early 2026, and they’ll no doubt be on fire when they hit Roskilde Festival once again.
