Re-Design WorkshopDK

TUESDAY 1 JULY

Give the environment a big hug by turning old clothes into your very own teddy bear – complete with a festival outfit!

  • Tuesday 1 July
    11:00, Flokkr Container #3

As part of Det Grønne Loppemarked’s takeover of Flokkr, visionary designers Alectra Rothschild and Stine Victoria Huyn Pedersen invite you into a playful, hands-on re-design workshop. Here, upcycling becomes a form of creative self-expression – and you’ll leave with a teddy bear that’s all your own.

You decide whether to follow a pattern or freestyle your teddy from scratch. You’ll also choose what to stuff it with and dress it up in a fabulous festival look. Once your bear is complete, you can add accessories and personal details – and of course, you get to take it home!

You don’t need to bring anything or know how to sew in advance – but if you do, it’s a bonus. The designers will guide you through scissors, thread, and sewing machines in a fun and beginner-friendly way.

Alectra Rothschild (DK) is a fashion and costume designer who works with upcycling through her practice, where all her collections are made by reusing all sorts of clothes and things.
