The countdown to summer, music, celebration and community has begun!
We’re already busy recruiting the many volunteer teams that will take part in creating Roskilde Festival 2026. And we’ve got a role that’s just right for you!
As a volunteer, you’ll become part of our amazing orange community that truly makes a difference for others.
You’ll get full access to Roskilde Festival and Volunteers’ Village, offering experiences and treats exclusively for volunteers. We’ll take good care of you – providing food and drinks during your shifts, as well as access to a calm camping area close to hot showers.
You’ll be part of a community with open arms where differences are celebrated – whether you arrive without knowing anyone else or join as a volunteer with your friends.
As a volunteer, you contribute a minimum of 24 hours between Wednesday 1 July and Sunday 5 July 2026, or at least 32 hours spread across the full festival period.
Sounds like something for you? Then check out our available roles and send in your application today.

Do special rules apply to international volunteers? Where can I sleep as a volunteer? And do I need any prior experience?
If it’s your first time volunteering at Roskilde Festival, you probably have plenty of questions. We’ve gathered the answers right here!

Roskilde Festival is 100 % non-profit and your effort as a volunteer directly supports good causes.
You can volunteer with one of the 200 volunteer associations that help create Roskilde Festival – supporting each association’s charitable purpose in the process.
You can also volunteer directly for the Roskilde Festival Charity Society, where all proceeds go towards promoting young people’s wellbeing through art and culture.
