ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

Are you ready to make Roskilde Festival even better? We are looking for volunteer service hosts (camping hosts) for two unique camping areas:

  • M – Rent Your Tent: where tents are already set up – guests just need to move in
  • L – Get a Place: a reserved camping area where guests can secure a spot until Sunday, June 28 at 16:00

As part of our team, you will play an important role in creating a safe, cozy, and unforgettable festival experience. You’ll be there to help guests, create a great atmosphere, and ensure that everyone has an amazing festival. We provide all the support you need—your manager and supervisor will always be ready to guide you during your shifts.

The shifts consist of 4 x 8 hours, including at least one night shift and one shift during the main music days. In return, you receive: a full festival ticket, 4 meal vouchers, access to Volunteer Village, the option to camp in Volunteer Camping, and more.

You don’t need experience—just a smile and a willingness to help! We are an international team, so it’s an advantage if you understand English. During shifts, you will be standing and walking around a lot, so it’s helpful if you enjoy being active. The only requirements are that you are 18+ and ready to help create a fantastic experience for others.

In addition to the great benefits the festival offers volunteers, you will become part of an amazing community. We coordinate camping together, find time for concerts and experiences, and most importantly: we wait to release shifts until the music lineup is announced, so you can get the most out of your festival! Coming with a group of friends? No problem—we release shifts on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are plenty of opportunities to take shifts together.

ACCESSIBILITY

Our team offers following accessibility

  • Tasks that are not physically demanding
  • Tasks that take place without loud noise or high music levels

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

As a volunteer in RoskildeBar, you become part of a large and welcoming bar crew running bars by the festival stages and in the camping areas. The tasks are simple and essential: bartending and guest service, prepping and producing drinks, and keeping the bar area tidy and inviting.

RoskildeBar is operated by Gringobar, and as a volunteer with us you gain access to the same benefits, culture, and sense of community—whether you’re close to the music at the stages or working at a calmer pace in the camping areas.

We work with clear structures, good energy, and a strong focus on collaboration. You’ll receive an on-site introduction, support from experienced bar managers, and access to crew areas between shifts.

You decide how you want to contribute:

We make it easy to volunteer together with others:

  • You choose your own shift package
  • We offer several identical shift packages, making it easy to choose the same one as your friends

Shift packages are expected to be ready about one month before the festival

The time commitment depends on the bar type:

Stage bars (except EOS)

→ 24 hours of work divided into 3 shifts

→ Scheduled on the music days

Camping bars and the EOS stage bar

→ 32 hours of work divided into 4 shifts

→ Scheduled on the warm-up days and music days

ACCESSIBILITY

Our team offers following accessibility

  • We offer tasks that are not physically demanding
  • We offer tasks that can be carried out with reduced hearing
  • We offer tasks with no requirement to read or write

ABOUT US

RoskildeBar runs bars across Roskilde Festival—from the stages where the music is right up close, to the camping areas where the pace is calmer and the interaction with guests is more direct.

We are part of the Gringobar universe and build on many years of experience with festival bars, volunteer culture, and well-functioning workflows. Our focus is safety, overview, and great experiences—for both guests and crew.
