ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

We’re in charge of gate control at the volunteer entrances to the Indre plads – which means you’re the one greeting people with a smile, checking wristbands, and taking a quick look at what they’re bringing with them.

You’ll join a big team of volunteers where the vibe is high, the laughs are loud, and we’ve got each other’s backs, on shifts and with sunscreen. You can, of course, apply as a group.

ABOUT US

Foreningen GRØN is based in Holbæk and works to give young people great experiences, a sense of community, and a strong network. We use festival volunteering as a springboard, both to help others and to have fun along the way.

We believe you can make a difference with dust on your shoes and a smile on your face.

WANT TO JOIN US?

We’re looking for 100+ awesome, fun, and social volunteers—solo or in groups.

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

As a Supervisor, you support the service hosts in handling situations that arise at the gates. If a situation goes beyond what a service host feels able to manage, it’s your responsibility to step in and take charge.

You’ll also ensure that the area’s gates are operating and run according to procedures and instruction cards, and that volunteers carry out their tasks primarily in line with the established guidelines.

You set the tone, keep the gate running smoothly, and help both volunteers and participants have the best possible experience. The role calls for overview, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to juggle Danish, English—and a bit of chaos. Don’t worry: a base leader will also be on duty to support you.

At the base, we don’t just focus on the volunteer work—we also host social activities within a large community that all our volunteers help create. We run bingo nights, group concert outings, and we make sure our volunteers are well catered for.

Our tasks include:

  • Managing a gate and checking access for both vehicles and pedestrians.

  • Checking vehicle access at a parking area.

  • Standing at a gate and checking wristbands.

We expect you to show up with a smile and a positive attitude, enjoying talking to people is definitely a plus!

You’re welcome to join with your friends, up to 10 people can get shifts together.

We have four team leaders who look after you as a volunteer and are present around the clock, day and night. Our base area has cozy sofas, lounge chairs, a kitchen, and cheap draft beer.

We also have chefs who cook for you, so there’s always good food. We eat together, play board games, and enjoy plenty of social evenings filled with fun and relaxation.

ABOUT US

We’re all about community, fun, and great vibes! We’re a floorball club from Næstved, raising funds so that more young people can play floorball, especially families who wouldn’t normally be able to afford sports for their children.

The money we earn from Roskilde Festival goes toward a shared club trip and games for our members. It strengthens our sense of community, everyone knows each other, we have fun, and we take care of one another.

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

As a volunteer in the Support Corps, you will become an important part of the engine room behind Roskilde Festival.
You help with practical tasks such as collecting and disposing of trash bags, delivering bags to the service areas, and handling various ad-hoc tasks around the festival grounds.
