ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

Welcome to the volunteer team behind WATERLAND - the camp site showers.

You will have 4 shifts between June 29 – July 4 at the campsite showers

You put in an effort in fixed groups of three, always mixed-gender, so the team can service both men’s and women’s shower areas.

Tasks include:

  • scanning shower tickets
  • checking that shower units function properly
  • keeping the area clean and tidy
  • helping create a friendly atmosphere and offering hospitality to guests

All necessary equipment is provided, and the teams wellbeing is a priority.

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

As a Service Host, you help ensure a cozy and festive festival atmosphere. Your tasks may include guiding festivalgoers to camping spots, patrolling the camping area, assisting guests (either in the camping area or at Skyliner), helping keep toilets functional (we assist Team Toilet with toilet operations, but we are not responsible for cleaning — this is handled by Team Toilet), facilitating waste sorting (helping festivalgoers help themselves), and generally engaging with guests about behavior and maintaining the positive festival spirit — “Orange is a feeling…”

The commitment:

Your commitment as a volunteer with us consists of 4 shifts of 8 hours each during the period from June 27 to July 5. The shifts are divided between day, evening, and night shifts and take place during both First Days and Main Days, with more freedom and breaks between shifts.

You can apply either alone or together with friends, and we will do our best to accommodate requests to have shifts together. There is also an opportunity to influence your own schedule and choice of shifts.

About you:

Would you like to combine service tasks with lots of social interaction and help give festivalgoers the best possible experience? Then become a Service Host at Camping South P — the coziest and most social volunteer role at the festival!

We have no special requirements for our volunteers, but we do hope that you are open, outgoing, and friendly when carrying out the tasks. We provide all the training and knowledge needed to perform the role.

Camping South (P) is an area where all kinds of activities and festivalgoers are represented. We welcome both newcomers and experienced attendees, as well as festivalgoers of all age groups — united by the shared desire to create an amazing festival experience!

Camping South (P) includes the following camping areas:

  • Get A Place (GAP South)
  • Get A Late Spot (GALS)
  • Settle’n Share

We also share the tasks with two wonderful associations, so as a volunteer you will not only become part of our team, but also part of a larger community of many enthusiastic volunteers.

Smile and wave! Smile and wave!
Do you love being on the front line? Want to be part of a well-organised team with years of experience? Then join us out front at Parking West, where we’re some of the very first people the happy and excited festival guests meet when they arrive!

Together, we help set the tone with great vibes, a little dance, high spirits, and the best jokes around.

Our tasks include checking driving and parking permits, and giving directions when guests are unsure of where to go.

Over the course of the festival, we contribute 32 hours (usually spread over at least one day shift, one evening shift, and one night shift), and only one of your shifts will be during a music evening/night.
You'll have the opportunity to influence your schedule, and you're more than welcome to volunteer with your friends.

Would you like to be part of a brand new initiative at Roskilde Festival?

In Circular Services – Trade and Gastronomy, we're building a new type of bottle return stall at Indre Plads this year, which will only be open during the Final Days. Here, we’ll accept guests’ washable glasses, cups, and pitchers, nothing else, and help send them back into the circular economy.

We’re looking for 24-hour volunteers who want to lend a hand at the stall and be the festival’s smiling face. You’ll have 3 shifts of 8 hours each during the Final Days, where you will:

  • Receive glasses, cups, and pitchers from guests
  • Help maintain flow and order in the stall
  • Contribute to a good atmosphere and a greener festival

The stall is located in a central spot by Sejlene—with a view of Platform and the stands by Orange—so you’ll be right in the heart of the festival while helping to create something new and important.

ABOUT THE TASK AND WHAT YOU'LL BE A PART OF

Are you ready to make Roskilde Festival even better? We are looking for volunteer service hosts (camping hosts) for two unique camping areas:

  • M – Rent Your Tent: where tents are already set up – guests just need to move in
  • L – Get a Place: a reserved camping area where guests can secure a spot until Sunday, June 28 at 16:00

As part of our team, you will play an important role in creating a safe, cozy, and unforgettable festival experience. You’ll be there to help guests, create a great atmosphere, and ensure that everyone has an amazing festival. We provide all the support you need—your manager and supervisor will always be ready to guide you during your shifts.

The shifts consist of 4 x 8 hours, including at least one night shift and one shift during the main music days. In return, you receive: a full festival ticket, 4 meal vouchers, access to Volunteer Village, the option to camp in Volunteer Camping, and more.

You don’t need experience—just a smile and a willingness to help! We are an international team, so it’s an advantage if you understand English. During shifts, you will be standing and walking around a lot, so it’s helpful if you enjoy being active. The only requirements are that you are 18+ and ready to help create a fantastic experience for others.

In addition to the great benefits the festival offers volunteers, you will become part of an amazing community. We coordinate camping together, find time for concerts and experiences, and most importantly: we wait to release shifts until the music lineup is announced, so you can get the most out of your festival! Coming with a group of friends? No problem—we release shifts on a first-come, first-served basis, and there are plenty of opportunities to take shifts together.

As a Toilet Logistics volunteer, you will help service the bathroom and toilet islands in the camping areas and inner square, so that there are always toilets and cleaning supplies available here.

You will check and refill the containers that Toilet Service uses.

The task is simple: ticket sales and service hosting at Roskilde Station during Roskilde Festival. You’ll help festival guests buy festival train tickets, provide information, and help ensure smooth operations on the platform. You’ll be one of the very first people most festival guests meet, and an “expert” in service and helpfulness. You’ll join a team of 100+ volunteers—and you’ll make lots of new connections.

Our tasks include:

  • Managing a gate and checking access for both vehicles and pedestrians.

  • Checking vehicle access at a parking area.

  • Standing at a gate and checking wristbands.

We expect you to show up with a smile and a positive attitude, enjoying talking to people is definitely a plus!

You’re welcome to join with your friends, up to 10 people can get shifts together.

We have four team leaders who look after you as a volunteer and are present around the clock, day and night. Our base area has cozy sofas, lounge chairs, a kitchen.

We also have chefs who cook for you, so there’s always good food. We eat together, play board games, and enjoy plenty of social evenings filled with fun and relaxation.

We’re all about community, fun, and great vibes! We’re a floorball club from Næstved, raising funds so that more young people can play floorball, especially families who wouldn’t normally be able to afford sports for their children.

The money we earn from Roskilde Festival goes toward a shared club trip and games for our members. It strengthens our sense of community, everyone knows each other, we have fun, and we take care of one another.

We are a football club from Valby that collects deposit bottles and cans gathered by others. We then sort the deposits into various categories and make sure they are returned properly in an environmentally friendly way. It can be a messy job, but we always strive to make sure everyone feels good and has a positive experience.

As a volunteer with us, you’ll have two shifts before the music starts and two shifts during the music. We’re usually very good at planning the schedule so that you can see the concerts you want to. :)

We have a great backstage area where our volunteers can take breaks and relax together. We provide food and drinks during your shifts.

We are a football club called Fremad Valby, and the volunteer work in our deposit booth at the festival helps us improve the everyday experience for our many members.

The commitment consists of 3 × 8-hour shifts scheduled across the music days between 12:00 and 05:00. We are flexible and make it possible for you to see the artists you really want to experience.

Food and drinks will be provided while you’re working at the stall, and there will also be breaks. Your tasks will include serving customers, preparing food, serving, cleaning up, and doing the dishes.

There is also the option to apply together with friends. Groups of 2–3 will be scheduled for shifts together, while groups larger than 4 will be split into pairs.

Our volunteers become part of the Hooked / Burgerbaren team at Roskilde Festival. The role mainly involves preparing and serving food, engaging with guests at a fast pace while maintaining a great atmosphere and high level of service, and working closely together as part of a team in an energetic festival environment.

The tasks require a sense of responsibility, efficiency, and the ability to keep an overview in a busy setting, but no prior experience is necessary. All volunteers receive a thorough introduction, clear tasks, and ongoing support throughout their shifts. Both Danish- and English-speaking volunteers are welcome.

The community is social, inclusive, and built on collaboration. Many of our volunteers are young people who join either on their own or together with friends - and who quickly become part of the team. We have been part of Roskilde Festival for many years, and it is a pleasure to return year after year.

With us, we make roast pork sandwiches, meatball sandwiches, and other delicious festival food. You will gain experience cooking and selling food. If you’d rather chill with your own music in our laundry room, that’s also an option. We also need one or two people to help keep the stall clean.

You’ll need to commit to four shifts, each 8 hours long. You can choose the team you want to be on, and if you act fast, you can join a team with your friends — you just need to pick the same shift. We also have fixed shifts, so you’ll meet the same people during all four shifts.

We need many volunteers who are 18 or older, but we also welcome younger volunteers between 15-17 years old.

In our backstage area tent, you can relax during setup, breaks, etc., and you can charge your phone during your shifts.

Gynther’s Corner is run by the Gymnastics Department of Jyllinge-Gundsømagle Sports Club (JGI-Gymnastik).
We’ve been running a food stall at Roskilde since 1993. We’re located in the East City Center, so if you’re planning to stay in camping areas P, L, N, or K, our stall is just a short walk away.
The profits we make at Roskilde Festival go towards equipment and trips for our 600 gymnasts. Additionally, we’ve been saving since 1993 in hopes of one day building our own trampoline center.

Volt is a community of festival lovers and many return to Volt year after year to share the festival feeling, create experiences and meet festival friends from all over the country.

Our concept is simple: Customers who have rented one of our many services will be able to pick it up at one of our containers, exchange it according to the agreement before returning it at the end of the festival. If the service requires a deposit, this will be refunded when the product is returned.
