Camping is a core part of the Roskilde Festival experience.
If you already want to be sure how you and your camp will be staying during the festival, pay attention now:
On Thursday 29 January at 10:00, sales open for this summer’s Special Camping options. You can book:
- A camping spot for yourself or your entire camp
- Camping in areas where music must be switched off at night
- A tent that is already pitched when you arrive
- A glamping stay in specially furnished tents
Special Camping is sold through our shop. You need an Orange Orbit account to book Special Camping. If you do not already have a profile, make sure to create one before sales open.
Many areas will sell out quickly, so be ready when sales start.
As something new this year, you can also choose between several glamping options, each with its own distinct style. The tents are ready when you arrive and come furnished with real beds, power supply and access to hot showers.
You can choose between a classic glamping tent with generous space, a tall tipi with extra height and airiness, or a larger glamping tent designed for several people sharing the same tent.

On 29 January at 10:00, applications also open for Community Camping areas. Community Camping is for those who want to live together around a shared idea, interest or purpose. You apply for a spot in a dedicated area and get the opportunity to create your own part of the festival together with other camps.

But you do not need to bring it from home. Instead, you can rent everything directly through us and pick it up when you arrive at the festival.
