The better prepared you are, the quicker you’ll be inside and ready to find your camp, pitch your tent and raise a toast. That’s why we’ve gathered everything you need to arrive easily, quickly and without hassle.
Choose your arrival day and camping area below and see your transport options.
Buy Early Entry
With Early Entry, you can enter the festival several hours before the official opening on Saturday 27 June at 16:00.
Early Entry is especially relevant if you want to arrive early, secure a good spot in Regular Camping or set up camp with your friends.
The earliest time slots are in high demand, so be ready when tickets go on sale.

Not sure where your camping area is located? Check the map to see where your area is placed. The map also shows all Wristband Exchange zones, where you can exchange your ticket for a festival wristband.
Please note that Wristband Exchange opening hours vary.
Camping East includes Regular Camping, Community Camping and Special Camping.
Camping East includes the following areas: Regular Camping East, Get A Place East, Rent A Pitched Tent, Rent A Pitched Tent Deluxe, ReTent, Handicamp, Common Ground, Roskilde Road Trip, Dream City, Clean Out Loud and Leave No Trace.
If you are staying in Camping East, we recommend using Entrance East.
When you arrive, you must go to the Wristband Exchange outside Entrance East to exchange your ticket for a wristband.
Please note that Wristband Exchange at Entrance East closes at 22:00. If you arrive after 22:00, you must instead go to Wristband Exchange at Check-In just north of Entrance North.
If you are staying in Regular Camping, you will need to find an available spot yourself. In Community Camping and Special Camping, your placement has been arranged in advance or will be assigned on arrival.
If you cannot find space, you can get help at Camping Wayfinding east of the railway bridge until 20:00 on Saturday 27 July.
Walk or cycle to Entrance East
You can walk or cycle from Roskilde Station to Entrance East. Bicycle parking is available at the entrance.
Arrive by Nobina shuttle bus
From Roskilde Station, you can take a Nobina shuttle bus to Entrance East. Tickets are purchased on board. The fare is 30 DKK and payment is by card only.
Buses run continuously when full. Follow the signage.
You can also take a Nobina shuttle bus from Køge Nord (60 DKK) or Copenhagen Bus Terminal at Dybbølsbro (95 DKK).

Arrive by festival train
From Roskilde Station, you can take a direct train to Roskilde Festival Station next to Camping West. From there, walk through the campsite to East.
Trains run approximately every 20–40 minutes. The journey takes a few minutes. Tickets cost 30 DKK and are purchased on the platform.
If you arrive by train, you will receive your wristband at Roskilde Festival Station (Entrance Train Station).

In partnership with GreenMobility, designated parking spaces for their electric shared cars are available at Park n’ Pay Far West, Drop-off Zone West and north of Entrance North.
Arrive by car (drop-off)
If arriving by car, drive to Drop-off Zone East on Øde-Hastrupvej and walk to Entrance East.
Parking
You can park in Park n’ Pay East or Park n’ Pay South.
We recommend pre-booking parking via our webshop from 7 May at 10:00.
Early Entry
With Early Entry, you can enter from 10:00.
You can arrive via Entrance East, by train to Roskilde Festival Station or through other Early Entry entrances.
Please note: An Early Entry ticket does not guarantee a spot in Regular Camping in East or West. However, all participants will be accommodated. If no space is available, you can visit Camping Wayfinding east of the bridge until 20:00 on Saturday 27 June.
Early Entry tickets go on sale via our webshop from 7 May at 10:00.
Early Entry – Festival train
Trains run from Roskilde Station from 09:30.
Early Entry train departures require a specific Early Entry – Entrance Train Station ticket. The price is 80 DKK.
Camping West includes both open tent camping without pre-booking and Get A Place.
Camping West includes the areas Regular Camping West and Get A Place West.
If you are staying in Camping West, you should use Entrance West or Entrance North.
When you arrive, go to the Wristband Exchange outside Entrance West to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband.
Make sure you arrive before 22:00, as Wristband Exchange at Entrance West closes at that time. If you arrive later, go to Wristband Exchange at Check-In just north of Entrance North.
If you are staying in Regular Camping, find an available spot yourself. If you are staying in Get A Place, your placement has already been arranged.
If you cannot find space when you arrive, you can get help at Camping Wayfinding east of the railway bridge until 20:00.
Walk or cycle from Roskilde Station
Walk or cycle via Maglegårdsvej. Bicycle parking is available at both entrances.
Take the Nobina shuttle bus
From Roskilde Station, you can take a Nobina shuttle bus to Entrance East. Buy your ticket on board. The fare is 30 DKK and you can only pay by card.
Buses run continuously when full, so follow the signage.
You can also take the Nobina shuttle bus from Køge Nord (60 DKK) or Copenhagen Bus Terminal at Dybbølsbro (95 DKK). You pay on board and can only pay by card.
Shuttle buses stop at Entrance East. From there, walk to Camping West.
Take the festival train
From Roskilde Station, you can take a direct train to Roskilde Festival Station, located next to Camping West. Trains run approximately every 20–40 minutes. The journey takes just a few minutes, and you buy your ticket on the platform at Roskilde Station. The fare is 30 DKK and payment is by card only.
If you arrive by train, you will receive your wristband at Roskilde Festival Station (Entrance Train Station).

Camping South includes the following areas: Get A Late Spot (which opens on 30 June), Get A Place South, Get A Silent Spot, Get A Silent Place and Settle’n Share.
If you are staying in Camping South, you should use Entrance South or Entrance East.
When you arrive, go to the Wristband Exchange outside Entrance South to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband.
Make sure you arrive before 21:00, as Wristband Exchange at Entrance South closes at that time. If you arrive between 21:00 and 22:00, you can get your wristband at Entrance East. If you arrive after 22:00, go to Wristband Exchange at Check-In just north of Entrance North.
Walk or cycle to Entrance East
You can walk or cycle from Roskilde Station to Entrance East and continue on foot to Camping South. Bicycle parking is available at the entrance.
Take the Nobina shuttle bus
From Roskilde Station, you can take a Nobina shuttle bus to Entrance East. Buy your ticket on board. The fare is 30 DKK and you can only pay by card.

On Saturday 27 June, you can arrive and check in your camping unit or motorbike until 22:30. If you arrive before 16:00, you must have purchased an Early Entry ticket for the area.
If you arrive on the following days, you can check in your camping unit between 07:30 and 22:30.
Please note that it is not possible to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband within the Caravan Camping / MC Camping / Sleep-In Buses area.
Once you have arrived and positioned your camping unit, you must drive your vehicle out of the area. Then go to the Wristband Exchange outside Entrance West to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband.
It is not possible to drive all the way to Entrance West, so you must continue on foot to get your wristband.
Wristband Exchange at Entrance West closes at 22:00 on Saturday 27 June and is open between 09:00 and 21:00 on the following days. If you arrive outside these hours, go to Wristband Exchange at Check-In just north of Entrance North.
Early Entry for caravan guests
If you want to be among the first to place your caravan, sleep-in bus or motorbike in the area, you can book Early Entry. Choose your arrival time in 30-minute intervals between 10:00 and 15:30 on Saturday 27 June.
Please note: You only need one Early Entry ticket per caravan, bus or motorbike – not per person. The ticket costs 50 DKK and can be purchased via our webshop from Thursday 7 May at 10:00.
This area is dedicated to participants staying in caravans and is accessed via Kamstrupvej.
Opening hours and wristbands
On Saturday 27 June, you can arrive and check in your camping unit until 22:30. If you arrive before 16:00, you must have purchased an Early Entry ticket for the area.
If you arrive on the following days, you can check in your caravan between 07:30 and 22:30.
Please note that it is not possible to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband within the Caravan Camping / MC Camping / Sleep-In Buses area.
Once you have arrived and positioned your camping unit, you must drive your vehicle out of the area. Then go to the Wristband Exchange outside Entrance West to exchange your festival ticket for a wristband.
It is not possible to drive all the way to Entrance West, so you must continue on foot to get your wristband. It is also not possible to walk through the main camping area when going to collect your wristband.
Wristband Exchange at Entrance West closes at 22:00 on Saturday 27 June and is open between 09:00 and 21:00 on the following days. If you arrive outside these hours, go to Wristband Exchange at Check-In just north of Entrance North.
Early Entry for caravan guests
If you want to be among the first to place your caravan in the area, you can book Early Entry. Choose your arrival time in 30-minute intervals between 10:00 and 15:30 on Saturday 27 June.
Please note: You only need one Early Entry ticket per caravan – not per person. The ticket costs 50 DKK and can be purchased via our webshop from Thursday 7 May at 10:00.
