Be prepared for sharp lyrical shots, hard drill beats and plenty of attitude when Bb Trickz takes to the stage at Roskilde Festival this summer.
In just a few years, the Barcelona-based artist has gained a reputation as one of the most vital young voices on the Spanish hip-hop scene, and she has also long since attracted international attention. Among other things, she has collaborated with Charli XCX on a remix of her hit "Club Classics" and has impressed audiences at major festivals such as Coachella.
With a keen sense for short and snappy tracks, Bb Trickz has made a name for herself on platforms such as TikTok, where she has achieved considerable viral success. Her tracks rarely last more than two minutes, but she releases them and EPs at a furious pace. And although she has been acclaimed for her drill-oriented style, her releases demonstrate a willingness to explore a wealth of musical directions, from intense dembow rhythms, highlife and R&B to indie rock and lo-fi aesthetics.
A good example is her 2025 release, 80’z, which lasts only 12 minutes – but in return takes the listener by surprise with its creative nerve and power. The Quietus highlighted the EP as one of 2025's best releases, writing, among other things, "80'z is like a joyously chaotic disco shift at the club". We can expect new material from Bb Trickz in the spring, and it is guaranteed not to be a quiet affair when she takes to the stage at Roskilde Festival with her intense energy.
