Despite her young age, Zara Larsson takes to the biggest stages with a confidence that shows she has literally grown up in the spotlight. As a teenager, she made a significant mark on Scandinavian pop with releases such as her debut album 1, which she released in 2014 at the age of just 17. Since then, she has conquered the international music scene and developed a signature style that combines a classic Nordic pop sound with elements of R&B and a club-oriented electronic sound. 

For Zara LarssonLarsson, pop music and dance are a gateway to liberation, and since the beginning of her career, she has used her platform to speak out against oppression and injustice and to spread a message of inclusion, particularly for sexual minorities. Her latest album, Midnight Sun (2025), is her most personal to date, and with full creative control, Zara Larsson has chosen to collaborate primarily with women and queers in the studio. The result is a bang of a modern album that combines celebration and reflection and unfolds a wide range of musical inspirations—from house and trance to Brazilian funk and R&B. 

Zara Larsson herself has stated that Midnight Sun is inspired by the bright summer nights of the Nordic countries, and the album has received critical acclaim. Clash Magazine, among others, described the album as: "starry-eyed, joyous Scandi-pop built to ignite dancefloors as easily as festival sing-alongs." We dare to predict that her music will kick off a huge party under the summer sky at Roskilde Festival’s Orange Stage.
