Relive 2025 wearing a bright vest

15.12.2025Commitment

We look back on a spectacular festival year alongside some of the 27,000 volunteers who make Roskilde Festival possible.

Join us on a tour of the year's most memorable moments within the volunteer community and meet some of the initiatives that are already benefiting from the festival's profits.

A look behind the scenes

27,000 volunteers plan, build and run Roskilde Festival – and no two are alike!

Meet the strong community that brought the Gaia stage to life at RF25.

Say hello to the volunteers from Nørrebro United who sold ice cream to festivalgoers with a sweet tooth – and took the profits home to the club’s funds.

And meet 22-year-old Uffe who makes his voice heard as a volunteer board member of the Roskilde Festival Charity Society.

One million for communities in Roskilde

While our volunteers help create the world's best festival for everyone else they also ensure that we can donate the profits to initiatives that strengthen the opportunities, dreams and hopes of children and young people.

Part of the profit from RF25 has already been passed on. We have donated a total of DKK 1,050,000 to 20 volunteer communities in Roskilde Municipality. These are initiatives that, in their own way, create new opportunities and stronger communities for children and young people.

Well-deserved recognition for volunteer role models

Without volunteers, no Roskilde Festival. That should be clear if you’ve made it this far.

During RF25, volunteers could nominate their volunteer festival heroes. With their input, we selected a group of heroes to honour for their unparalleled dedication.
