For many festival veterans, the true Roskilde feeling begins in the queue for Dixi Burger, Time-Out or Skiburger. These are the places thousands of festivalgoers return to year after year when they're craving something familiar, indulgent and satisfyingly messy.
This year, all three festival institutions have refreshed their menus. Familiar beef burgers have made way for chicken, loaded fries, new ingredients and fresh contenders for your next festival favourite.
We've picked out three juicy newcomers worth sinking your teeth into.
You don't know how greasy a chicken burger can be until you've tried this one.
The new crowd favourite goes by the name "Dixi Chick Cheese". Packed with juicy organic chicken, melted cheese, crisp lettuce and fresh tomatoes in a soft burger bun, it's a worthy successor to a festival classic.
The smiling faces behind the counter belong to more than 350 volunteers from KFUM's Boldklub Roskilde, who not only keep hungry festivalgoers fed but also help raise funds for their local football club.

Find every food stall in the app
Use the search function and filters to discover specific dishes, cuisines and food stalls across the festival site – and find exactly what you're in the mood for.
Forget soggy, boring chips. These ones come fully loaded.
Crispy fries are topped with Anicia lentils, MATR Fungi, BBQ sauce and a spicy seasoning blend that delivers warmth, richness and plenty of umami.
Run by Roskilde Handball Club, Time-Out has served just about everything over the years – from burgers to Chinese-style noodle boxes. Today, the menu has been stripped back, so you get more flavour and fewer compromises on your plate.

What is MATR?
MATR is a fermented, plant-based ingredient made from organic Nordic produce, with a focus on flavour, texture and sustainability.
Rich in flavour and packed with umami, MATR Fungi adds depth and a satisfying bite, making it the perfect topping for your Spicy Loaded Fries.
When the Inner Festival Site opens, most people make a beeline for the Orange Stage. Plenty of others head straight for Skiburger.
Run by Roskilde Ski Club, this legendary food stall has been serving festivalgoers since 1982. And this year, there's a new reason to stop by.
Meet the Snowboarder: juicy chicken, melted cheese and crunchy pickles tucked into a soft burger bun with creamy mayonnaise. Simple, satisfying and packed with flavour.
Enjoy a meal with good conscience
Over the course of the festival week, you and your fellow festivalgoers will tuck into around 1.5 million meals.
Every meal served at this year’s festival is made with 100% organic ingredients and must comply with a CO₂ limit designed to reduce its climate impact.
That means you can enjoy great food made from quality ingredients – without compromising on flavour, enjoyment or sustainability.
