Between tribal trance vibes, mind-expanding psychedelia and eclectic electronic beats, you'll find the Swedish collective Fauna, which has quickly become a favourite at numerous festivals.
Fauna has grown out of Gothenburg's vibrant music scene and brings a mix of electronic beats and organic instruments to the table, creating a sound that is both danceable and trippy. With their roots planted in a Swedish tradition for psychedelic music and their musical antennae open to a global network of genres, Fauna combine rave energy, hypnotic krautrock and almost shamanistic vibes. On stage, a whopping eight-piece band unfold a multicultural soundscape in wide format.
The collective captivated adventurous listeners with their debut singles "Animalisk" and "Cirkel" in 2023. Thanks to a series of dazzling concerts, where they have shared the stage with names such as Föllakzoid, Acid Arab and Waq Waq Kingdom, they have built up an international fan base.
This spring, their debut album Taiga Trans will be released on the globally oriented and always quality-conscious label Glitterbeat. With the material from the album, Fauna is ready to create a cosmic party of epic proportions at Roskilde Festival this summer.
