With his impressive lyrical skills and tough attitude, Oskar Witt delivers raw accounts of existential quests and harsh experiences to his audience, and his almost punk influenced style has made him an intense and personal acquaintance on the Danish rap scene.
Oskar Witt is well known on the poetry slam scene, where he has been an active figure, and draws solid inspiration from old school hip-hop. This is evident in his tracks, which offer a unique flow and a poetic grasp of reality, and even when he confronts the darker sides of life, he does so with humour and clever linguistic twists.
"Sounds like a walking mosh pit," wrote GAFFA about Oskar Witt's latest EP, released in early 2026. And he is indeed known for creating mosh pits at his intense concerts, which also showcase an artist with the ability to think outside the box. For example, when he organises a catwalk in the middle of a mosh pit, or when he organises one-day festivals in his own name.
In short: Oskar Witt doesn't play by anyone's rules, but creates his own, both on his releases and at his concerts. One thing you can be sure of when he takes the stage, though. There's always something at stake. And it's always intense. Experience the phenomenon for yourself when he hits Roskilde Festival this summer.
